Advantage: a) These "brochure sites" provide tons of bells and whistles including blogs and multimedia content. b) Less expensive

Disadvantage: Shopping carts are limited in function

2) Create an online store using a CMS store program that includes place for info about your company.

Advantage: More functionality including invoicing etc.

Disadvantage: a) More structured format, less flexibility, fewer bells and whistles. b) More expensive

3) Use a CMS program to run a Website and add a seperate shopping cart/CRM to manage the store.

Advantage: a) Get the best of both; b) less expensive than 2 above

Disadvantage: You are powering two programs.
